Shiner Premium is the original Shiner beer and was first brewed in 1909. In 2013, we brought it back with nods to its origin and its role in helping to put “the little brewery on the map.”
Challenge:
How do you introduce a new beer that’s also an old beer to Shiner’s loyal fans?
Idea:
We made it clear that this is the original Shiner beer. And we celebrated its reintroduction by celebrating the early 1970s in Austin – the time and place that put Premium, and Shiner Beers in general, on the map.
