Some people felt that Shiner had changed. That it had gotten too big and too corporate. And that led to rumors that the little Texas brewery had sold out to new owners and that its beer was no longer even brewed in Shiner. (All untrue.)

Shiner brewed a commemorative beer for its 100-year anniversary. So we used a rich gold and silver color palette to give the packaging a sense of occasion.
