In September 2017, Amazon announced it was searching for a home for its second headquarters, dubbed HQ2. After months of speculation, investment and waiting a number of cities were going to be left feeling dejected. In Austin, we felt we were owed an apology. We thought the other contenders might, too. So we made Alexa apologize to the rejected cities on behalf of Amazon.
