HAAM (Health Alliance for Austin Musicians) provides access to affordable health care for Austin's low-income, uninsured working musicians. As part of the recent citywide HAAM Benefit Day, we invited singer/songwriter and onetime HAAM beneficiary Kanude to perform his music with McJ and friends on our rooftop deck. It was a nice opportunity to support the local music scene and spend time with a great storyteller – a skill we very much admire. The beer and great weather didn’t hurt.
