In a remote corner of Guyana, the tiny village of Rewa was on the verge of collapse. With no local economy and no prospects, its residents resorted to illegal poaching to survive. Costa believed that a sustainable sports fishing industry could stop the poaching and create jobs for Rewa’s residents.
Challenge:
Launch a campaign aimed at showing support for the Amazonian village while creating demand for eco-tourism amongst sport fishermen.
Idea:
We produced a documentary film, a web experience, apparel and launch party to raise awareness for the cause.
