Challenge:
In its home base of Austin, Central Market had developed a popular following among foodies. However, as it expanded into other markets it struggled to define itself relative to traditional and specialty grocers in a way that wouldn’t come off as overly upscale or snobbish. Our task was to define Central Market’s positioning and craft a distinctive personality that carried across all of its in-store and out-of-store materials.
